Coconut oil is one of the few oils that actually enters the hair shaft instead of sitting on the surface. It prevents protein loss, the main cause of dry, brittle hair. Tea tree oil keeps the scalp clean by unclogging follicles. Apply to damp hair after a shower. No rinse needed. Works on all hair types, fine to thick, straight to curly.
Most leave-in conditioners work by coating the outside of the hair strand with silicones or synthetic polymers. It makes hair feel smooth temporarily, but it's surface-level. The coating builds up over time, trapping dirt and dulling shine.
Coconut oil behaves differently. Its molecular structure is small enough to actually penetrate the hair cortex, the inner layer of the strand. Once inside, it binds to the protein structure of the hair and prevents protein loss during washing and styling.
